Albo gdy leżę na nagrzanym pokładzie żaglówki, wszystko leniwie faluje, słońce praży mnie w odkryte plecy, a ja patrzę na fale co chwile zmieniane wiatrem.

Czy po prostu jest zachód słońca na Mazurach, brodzę po kolana w jeziorze, popijam wino z blaszanego kubka i nie mogę się nadziwić jak tu pięknie i szczęśliwie. I wiem, że za chwilę będzie jeszcze piękniej i szczęśliwiej – bo usiądziemy razem przy ognisku, będziemy jeść, śpiewać i rozmawiać – aż słońce po raz drugi rozświetli fale na jeziorze.

I don’t know about you, but I love watching the rippling surface of water.
Those moments when I dangle my feet from a pier, immerse them in the coolness, and watch how many different ways the water’s surface can wrinkle – these are some of the most beautiful moments in life.

Or when I’m lying on the warm deck of a sailboat, everything gently rocking, the sun burning my bare back, and I watch the waves constantly reshaped by the wind.

Or simply a sunset by the lake: I’m wading knee-deep in a lake, sipping wine from a metal mug, amazed at how beautiful and peaceful everything feels. And I know it’s about to become even better – because soon we’ll sit together by the fire, eat, sing, and talk, until the sun lights up the lake’s surface once more.

This relief is my story of all those moments spent by the water – where I am usually the happiest.

I designed it to be as realistic as possible, so that light dances across its surface (almost exactly) the way it does on the water in your favorite cove.

Each piece is cast by hand from porcelain, using a mold I created myself. Then I let it dry, carefully retouch it, and glaze it so it shines like the surface of the Baltic Sea on a sunny day. One final firing at 1250°C – and it’s ready to find its place on your wall.
