Not at all! Porcelain is a very light yet strong material, so your earrings will be lighter than many others of a similar size.

Large, dangling earrings weigh around 3.3 g. For comparison, earrings of a similar size made from plastic can weigh up to 10 g, and soutache earrings around 4.4 g.
Medium-sized porcelain stud earrings weigh only 1.9 g, while the smallest ones are just 0.6 g.

In short- don’t worry. Porcelain jewelry is among the lightest you’ll ever wear.

Not as much as you might think! Small stud earrings and pendants are actually quite hard to break – I know this from experience, as I often drop them myself;) Larger pieces usually handle short falls well, especially onto wood or carpet.

The most dangerous situation is a fall from a greater height onto hard tiles.
After all, this is porcelain-it’s beautiful, highly resistant to wear, and incredibly light-but it can break. Well… we all have our flaws.
