szum

“Szum” means the soft sound of the sea.

Born a little like Venus – from sea foam.
Inspired by shells, their textures, shapes, and colors.
An inspiration as old and simple as jewelry itself – yet timelessly captivating.

collection

giardino

Giardino. Dancing with flowers is a story of fascination with small pieces of nature.
With the joy that comes from simply observing them.

It is also a collection about porcelain itself – that perfect flower petals could not be created from any other material. – at least I see them that way. Only matte porcelain can so beautifully capture their texture and delicacy.

Giardino is a joy in beauty.
Unrestrained. Light.
Like dancing in a meadow.

Like flowers given for no reason at all.

Let’s just dance with flowers.

collection

tales of the sea

Tales of the Sea is a collection of vessels that are also paintings. They feature motifs inspired by the sea – its creatures, vegetation, and the shimmering movement of water.

Each piece is painted using a technique as old as porcelain itself, with cobalt oxide, drawn from Asian ceramic traditions.

solaria

SOLARIA grew inside me from a fascination with art deco style – its geometric, crystalline shapes, its love of shine and precious materials.

I was also carried away by a longing for the sun. It’s so simple, really. The sun. A little circle with rays, drawn since childhood. And yet, it has fascinated us for centuries. Without its light, November days drag on endlessly, and we just count down to the warm rays of May.

What would our lives be like without sunrises and sunsets? Without those colors we sometimes call cliché in paintings – but love with all our hearts. And the other sun: the sun within us, which sometimes dims, weighed down by fatigue, sadness, or the everyday.
Let’s rediscover it in ourselves.

All these inspirations may not mean anything to you.
SOLARIA takes everyone on their own journey.
To the sun.

collection

acquaria

The first fully hand-painted collection at Lekka.
Its story is as simple as summer pleasures themselves.

Model by model, cobalt sardines and shells, shrimps and starfish appeared under my brush.

collection

GOLDEN FRECKLES

GOLDEN FRECKLES is my simplest – and your most beloved- collection.
After all, don’t freckles add charm to a girl? So why wouldn’t they do the same for porcelain?

You’ll find dangling earrings, studs, and pendants here. You can wear them with a sweater and jeans and feel instantly put together. Or with a little black dress for an evening out.

That’s where their charm lies -they’re elegant, but never boring. They add a touch of shine, without overwhelming.

collection

animalia

ANIMALIA collection was inspired by the wild 1920s and the art deco style.
It combines minimalism and elegance – with a touch of humor.

After all, it’s hard not to smile when you see cat-shaped earrings, right?

collection

hesperis

This collection grew from a fascination with still lifes filled with flowers, fruit, and the shimmer of gold.
From a heart beating faster at the sight of art nouveau ornaments.

I portrayed flowers and fruit in my own, minimalist way – made of hand-colored porcelain, matte and glossy, with gently shimmering gold.

HESPERIS means evening.

Because these earrings and pendants bring to mind an old feast I would love to attend.
With a thousand candles and flowers.
With sweet fruit.
With a dark garden beyond the palace windows.

Maybe I watch too many historical films. Maybe I’m too much of an art historian.
But I wish for us to feel, wearing these magnolias and pomegranates, like the ladies at the feast in my imagination -beautiful and full of laughter.

Even if our evening is just a candle, a tracksuit, Netflix, and a comfortable sofa.

May HESPERIS bring you joy.

[HESPERIS is a past collection and is no longer available in the shop – but there are others waiting for you.]
