meet the maker
My name is Agnieszka Żuber, and I’m in love with porcelain.
And now that this confession is out in the open, I’d like to tell you a little more about it.
I create porcelain jewellery and wall art because I’m in love with the possibilities this material offers. It is incredibly light and comfortable to wear. Noble to the touch, it can be colored in many shades and shaped in (almost) any form. Porcelain gives a lot – but it also demands a lot. During the making process, it is extremely delicate and requires precision and patience.
Perhaps it’s this very duality that makes it so fascinating to me.
how it all started?
At the beginning of my journey with porcelain, I wasn’t a maker – I was a researcher. I studied art history and spent several years working in a museum as a ceramic collection curator. Hundreds of figurines, cups, and teapots passed through my hands. I was fascinated by the level of craftsmanship. The details.
At some point, everything began to accelerate. I wanted to touch porcelain not only at work, but beyond it as well. I spent endless hours at a ceramics school. I fought porcelain dust all over my home and created pieces on my kitchen countertop. I transported my works for firing in trembling crates in my car.
I felt my heart beating faster not only when typing at a museum keyboard, but when my fingers were covered in porcelain. With a racing heart, I decided to go all in.
My own kiln. My own studio.
And… that’s how it’s been ever since.

what do I make?
firstly
JEWELLERY
Each collection tells its own story—of flowers, the sea, shells, and animals. Explore them all.
secondly
WALL ART
I create blue-painted porcelain pieces using a technique inspired by Asian painting and relief porcelain sculpures. They are filled with simplicity—and the sea.
All I really want is to show others the beauty of porcelain.
To find my own path among its past makers.
To keep rediscovering this material—known since the 9th century, yet still astonishing.
To push its boundaries, and my own.
