blue flow
first ever online cobalt painting on ceramics course by Aga Żuber, Lekka.
What’s included in the course?
– access to a video course (in English) with English subtitles. I show you exactly which materials you need and how to prepare cobalt oxide–based paint for ceramic decoration. Then I guide you through making a test tile, transferring designs from a sketchbook onto bisque ware, sketching, and finally painting with the prepared paint.
– a PDF materials list, where I list the exact tools and supplies I personally use. I also give clear instructions on what to buy no matter where in the world you are – because these materials are really very basic!
– tips on where to look for inspiration (psst… and it won’t be Pinterest).

How do I access the course?
After purchase, you’ll receive a PDF with a link to the videos and a password to access them. The content will be available for at least one year. The audio is recorded in English, with both Polish and English subtitles (prepared by me – not auto-generated – so that all ceramic terminology is accurate).
You’ll also get:
– a PDF with the complete materials list (with links and sources)
– inspiration sources
Who is this course for?
Hobby and professional ceramicists – to get the most out of the course you only need basic ceramic knowledge: how to prepare the item you want to paint (plate, mug, tile), how to glaze it with a transparent glaze, and how to fire it.
I’ll take care of the rest! I explain everything in a very clear and accessible way, and the materials I use are available worldwide – they’re truly basic ceramic supplies. You don’t need to work on porcelain – this knowledge applies to decorating all types of ceramic clay bodies.
You can also use these techniques beyond cobalt painting – this method opens your mind, helps you discover your own style, and encourages you to explore often forgotten areas of ceramics.
Who is this course NOT for?
Absolute beginners who have never worked with ceramics before. I don’t explain the very basics of forming an object to be decorated.
What will I learn?
You’ll learn to paint using your own hand-prepared cobalt oxide-based paint. This course opens the door to a beautiful, simple, and historic technique of ceramic decoration (not only porcelain!).
If you’re looking for something new in ceramics, if you want to explore techniques beyond store-bought glazes and paints – this is for you. I explain everything step by step, and the inspirations you’ll find here can be used across many of your projects. After the course you’ll be able to:
Paint directly with this traditional technique, understanding every part of it or apply its elements with other colors and paints. I honestly can’t wait to see your results!
